This PP of “SAUDI ELECTRICITY COMPANY “( SEC ) is situated at 3 KM from Madinah Airport, Saudi Arabia. The project was mainly for the construction of 3-No.s, 5,000 Cu.M (Capacity Per Each Tank) of Crude oil Fuel Storage Tanks on “Turn Key Basis”, along with the “Design & Construction” of ‘ Mechanical Maintenance Steel Bldg.’ & ‘ Main Testing Laboratory ‘of RCC Concrete Bldg. Also ‘Upgrading of existing ‘Earthing/Grounding’ underground net of whole Power Plant Area. Brief description of above is as follows ;
Complete Design and execution of all Civil Works including , Earthwork / Backfilling & Compaction / RCC Ring Foundations with anchor bolts for 3-No.s Steel Storage Tanks, its internal drainage system, RCC concrete Dyke Wall at periphery & RCC concrete Internal Partition Separation Walls with sleeves for internal connectivity in case of rupture of any Fuel Storage Tank, RCC concrete Dyke Slab with independent sumps for Storage Tanks for Dyke Slab Area with necessary PVC drain piping . RCC concrete Pipe Supports & embedded Inserts for Fire Water / Fuel / FM 200 piping’s.
Job executed on Turn-Key basis for the complete ‘Design and Execution’ of a 2-Storeied ‘ Re-in forced Cement Concrete ’ ( RCC ) Building, having an overall covered area of 432 Sq.m,including all related Civil / Electrical / Data / Plumbing / Grounding & HVAC Works for Central Air-Conditioning system of the whole Bldg. ( 25-Tonne Package Units at Roof Top along with Supply / Return Ducting ).
Workshop Steel Bldg. having a covered area of 1,000+ Sq.m.of Zamil Steel ‘ZS’ Pre-Engineered Steel Bldg. along with 1-No. Over Head Crane of 25-Tonne lifting capacity. Clear height at Side-Walls of 10.00m & 10.60m at the ridge. While Steel Bldg. accessories included ‘Ridge Ventilators’ / Roof Mounted Power Extract Fans with special roof kerbs / Fiber Glass wool heat insulation / Roof Lite Panels / Double-Leaf Sliding Doors/ Eave Gutters & Down Spouts. Survey work & Layouts/Earth Works/All related Civil Works for the Steel Bldg. including external Concreting of Apron & Access RCC concrete slab / Construction of Internal Offices –RCC Bldg. & RCC Roof Mounted Spare Parts Storage Area. Complete Installation of Steel Bldg. with all related Electro-Mech. & HVAC Works.
TASK : To reduce prevailing ground resistance of 2.00 Ohm of Madinah Power Plant ‘Grounding Net’ up to 0.50 Ohm. Job executed for the complete ‘Design and Execution’ with addition of 20-No.s new Grounding / Earthing Copper Rods ( 3.0m Depth ), along with backup chemicals. Further some new areas of Power Plant ‘PP’ were also integrated with the existing Grounding Net System by laying of underground copper conductor.
